About the speaker: Marcella Palladino holds a PhD in Human Sciences with a focus on German Linguistics from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia (Italy). She is Postdoc Research Fellow at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia in a project on multilingual corpora of non-parliamentary political communication. She has been Visiting PhD Student at the Institute of Phonetics and Speech Processing at the Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich (Germany), where she worked on the application of speech processing and prosodic transcription systems to the analysis of German and Italian political speeches.
