Staff Mobility for Teaching and Training (STA & STT)

Erasmus+ provides teaching opportunities for the teaching staff of higher education institutions and staff invited from enterprises. Training opportunities are also available for teaching and non-teaching staff employed in a higher education institution.

Mobility for Teaching Staff (STA)

In the case of teaching assignments between higher education institutions in Programme Countries, both institutions have to be holder of the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE) and must have signed an inter-institutional agreement. The partner higher education institution/enterprise must have agreed on the programme of activities to be undertaken by the visiting teachers (Mobility Agreement) prior to the start of the mobility period. In all cases, the activities of staff undertaking a teaching assignment should be integrated into the curriculum of the receiving institution.

TU Darmstadt offers a wide range of possible exchange places. If you feel like becoming a guest lecturer at a European university, you will find all necessary information to realise your dream here.

For further information please contact (International Relations & Mobility).

Staff Mobility for Training (STT)

Staff members are selected by the sending higher education institution. Examples of staff mobility for training are: general and technical management, library, public relations, international office, information technology, etc. The sending institution and the receiving institution/enterprise must have agreed on the programme of the activities to be undertaken by the visiting staff member (Mobility Agreement) prior to the start of the mobility period. You will find further information here.

Employees of TU Darmstadt are welcome to improve their individual linguistic, professional and social competences with a short stay at a European partner university or in a company abroad. This advanced training programme supports the professional development and the international competence of our employees and can be funded with grants for Erasmus+ mobility for staff training.
