Graduation ceremony

Graduation ceremony

For graduates of the Department 02 – History and Social Sciences.

Dear students and graduates,

we are very pleased to inform you that the Departamental Office and the Student Council of Department 2 – History and Social Sciences have announced for a graduation ceremony. In a festive setting, we would like to honor all graduates of the department for the successful completion of their studies.

The ceremony is expected to take place at the end of January at the beginning of February 2026. You will find updated information on this page in due course.

If you are one of the students who have graduated or will graduate in 2025 (date of last exam including result), we would be very pleased if you and your family and friends could attend our graduation ceremony. Together we would like to celebrate the successful completion of a very important stage in your life. You may look back with joy and satisfaction on a successfully completed study!

You can register for the graduation ceremony here!

As usual, the program will include short speeches, music, and the honoring of the department's graduates and award winners.

Please feel free to forward this information to fellow students who we will not be able to reach due to the fact that they have already graduated (20245). Of course, our graduates of the RMU degree programme and the teacher training programme are also invited, although there are additional celebrations of their own here.

Alternatively, you can contact us to register or if you have any further questions about the event via:
.

When registering, please indicate the degree program you have completed, including subject(s), and, to help us plan, how many people you would like to come with. In order to accommodate everyone, please no more than three guests per graduate* if possible. Thank you!

Please also note that if you leave the TU Darmstadt for good, we will not be able to store your addresses and therefore will not be able to inform you about any last-minute changes regarding the graduation party. In order to receive this information nevertheless, simply send an E-Mail via the address above or register with a private e-mail address.

We are very much looking forward to your coming!.

Prof. Dr. Jens Ivo Engels (Dean), Prof. Dr. Nina Janich (Associate Dean & Internationalization Coordinator), Prof. Dr. Nathalie Behnke (Dean of Teaching and Student Affairs) and the Student Council of FB 2.
